The M44 Mosin is a Russian-manufactured rifle that was developed in response to increased urban combat. It’s essentially an M38 with a modified forearm and a permanently mounted bayonet that folds to the right when not inuse. The M44 was an improvement on the Model 91/30, especially for urban warfare, but few were used in combat on the Eastern Front. This Rifle is stamped v 1945 AA4407 soviet hammer triangle y and o with circle. Contains none matching numbers. This Rifle remains in Good condition showing normal signs of use, wear and aging.
