Lot 15316:
CZ VZOR 70 7.65
The CZ 70 also called the VZ 70, short for VZOR 70 was developed especially for police in former Czechoslovakia in Strakonice by Kratochvil brothers. Later this model was also produced in Uhersky Brod. In 1970, the CZ 70 replaced the CZ 50 and became the standard sidearm of Czechoslovak armed forces and police until 1983. During this period the CZ 70 served quite reliably. The design of CZ 70 was based on the Walther PP pistol using a fixed barrel and 8-round magazine capacity. Chambered in 7.65mm (.32 Auto) caliber, this pistol offers either single or double action and features a manual thumb safety on the left side of the frame. The pistol is in excellent condition and comes with one magazine. Please see photos.
