DOU 1942-Waffen Wereke Brunn AG, Bustrica, this was the first year of production for this contractor. The period after "dou"a practice shared only Steyr Damiler-Puch. Serial #9708g for barrel and action, bolt Serial #5339 matches itself, total number produced 92,582. Stock is in great shape, metal has been re-blued. Firing proofs are Nazi-style eagles, Acceptance Stamps are waffenamts w/Nazi-style eagles. Stock is laminated wood with cupped buttplate, metal is milled, barrel bands, follower, floorplate and trigger guard. Great rifiling, well defined lands and grooves. This rifle has an original rifle sling for this type of modified rifle sling. Please see photos.
