Springfield 1873 Trapdoor 45-70
The Springfield Model 1873 was the first standard-issue breech-loading rifle adopted by the United States Army. The rifle, in both full-length and carbine versions, was widely used in subsequent battles against Native Americans. Dated back to 1888 by the serial number 414271, this Springfield 1873 is in excellent condition, showing menial signs of use and wear. The rifles action operates as it should. Please see photos.
