In collector vernacular, a sheriff’s model is a short barreled single action without an ejector. Colt originally made the Single Action Army in this configuration in the late 1800’s. This excellent condition colt single action army, SAA, this is a third generation model, it is in caliber 44-40. The revolver is in excellent condition, showing minimal signs of use and wear. Please see photos.
