O.F. MOSSBERG & SONS INC 42 M .22 SHORT, LONG, LONG RIFLE
World War II era Mossberg 42M bolt action .22 cal. Rifle, contracted by Great Britain in 1941 for use by the Home Guard in training. Britain was suffering from a shortage of training rifles resulting in America supplying them with much of their military equipment. 2,500 of the first 10,000 such rifles ordered were produced without a serial number, and this is such an example. This Rifle is in Excellent condition showing normal signs of use and wear. Please see photos
