Remington Sportsman 48 20 GA
The Remington Model 48 Sportsman was an economy model of the 11-48 but still the same gun. It was produced by Remington as a streamlined long recoil action gun . The model 11 was also a long recoil action gun but many did not like the "Hump back" design on the gun. Remington’s answer was to produce a gun with a streamlined receiver. The 11-48 and Sportsman 48 were Remington’s last recoil action design before they went to the model 58 gas operated design. This Shotgun shows some surface rust and is in Good condition showing its age and normal signs of use. Please see photos
