Remington Nylon 66 .22 LR
Remington made about one million of these guns in the 1960s-1980s, but less than 20% were Apache Black. The Nylon series rifles (stock and receiver) were made out of plastic, Dupont’s "Zytel" Nylon. The receiver cover, barrel and sights are metal. The rifle weighs just 4 pounds. The gun has a 19 5/8 inch barrel, fixed front and adjustable rear sights and a tube magazine that holds 14 rounds of .22 long rifle cartridges. Please see photos.
