Marlin 39 .22 S/L/LR
The Model 39 was introduced in 1922, and did not carry a prefix. The S prefix likely was first used in the 1925-26 for only ONE YEAR.. Approx. 21,000 total rifles were made with the S-prefix. S# S7714. This RARE piece also features the original Peep sight. These Rifles are highly sought after and very hard to find. This Rifle is in excellent condition for its age and shows light scratches on Butt end of stock and shows normal signs of use and wear. Please see photos.
