Persian Mauser M98/29 7.92mm
This Persian Model 98/29 Mauser Rifle was manufactured by Brno in Czechoslovakia between 1931 and 1938. The 29.1" barrel has an excellent bore with bright, strong rifling. The Persian crest is on the top of the chamber and all markings, with the exception of the translated serial number on the left forward lower receiver, are in Farsi. The stock, with matching serial number, is excellent with a blank disc on the right butt. The rifle appears to function as designed and overall is in excellent condition showing minimal signs of use and wear. Please see photos.
