M1 Garand, a Springfield Armory Garand in 30-06, serial number 960347. This is a November of 1942 rifle. Interestingly it is in a stock that has a Danish Troop Tag. Sad part is it lists a different serial number, 2470461. The stock is also stamped, with that number.. The barrel on this rifle is a replacement Marlin barrel, with drawing number 6535448. This rifle is an interesting piece, with it mix of parts on it. The fact it is such an early gun, with a replacement barrel from the 1950?s. Has a Danish troop tag in the stock. This is truly a gun that you wish could talk.
