A 1940 Mauser Luger featuring proper Germany Nazi markings. The Eagle 655 Proof reflects that this is a 1940 produced Luger because the E655 changed to E135 in 1942. The Swastika/Eagle Proof with the full wings appears on the receiver, the barrel and the left side of the front toggle link. This proof began in September 1939 and simply represents the army acceptance. Pistol has mismatched serial numbers throughout, a common occurance on a Military issue pistol. This pistol is in very good condition, showing normal signs of use and wear. Please see photos.
