H&R U.S. Model 1873 45-70 GOVT
The Harrington & Richardson (H&R) Model 1873 is a modern reproduction of the Springfield Model 1873 Officer’s Trapdoor Rifle. The Springfield Model 1873 was the fifth variation of the Allin trapdoor design. It was named for its hinged breechblock, which opened like a trapdoor. This rifle is chambered in 45-70 GOVT and features a 24” shiny barrel. This Rifle remains in very good condition showing normal signs of use and wear. Please see photos.
