US Cavalry Saber

Appears to be an Original US M1840 Artillery officers Sword. Shows at one point in time it was disassembled , likely to replace the leather washer as well as some cleaning work a few generations ago. Stamped U.S. 1862 on the blade, spine is stamped U. Remians in Very Good condition for its age. Please see all of the photos.
