Lot 29126:
Marlin 57 .22 MAG
This is an early magnum before they switched to the 57M model for all .22 magnum rifles. Extremely rare to find. The Model 57-M was only manufactured for 10 years from 1959-1969. The Marlin Levermatic was a family of lever-action rifles created by Marlin Firearms in the 1950s. The Levermatic differed from the traditional lever-action rifles, such as the Marlin 39A, in that it employed a cam-and-roller system giving it an extremely smooth and short lever motion to reload a new cartridge. This model has no serial number as it was manufactured prior to the 1968 mandate for such concerns. The rifle is fitted with Weaver scope rings and is in excellent condition showing normal signs of use and wear. Please see the photos.
