Based on the German GEW-98 design. Chambered in 7.65 x 53mm (7.65mm Argentine Mauser). Shortened calvary model, as indicated by the serial number. Made in Germany by Deutsche Waffen- und Munitionsfabriken (DWM). Includes Argentinian crest on receiver ring. Feed by 5-round stripper clips to an internal, fixed magazine. Includes a tangent rear side graduated to 1400 meters. In very good condition. Manufactured in 1911.
