Lot 17229:
COLT Buntline Scout 22LR
The Colt Buntline Special was a long-barreled variant of the Colt Single Action Army revolver, which Stuart N. Lake described in his best-selling but largely fictionalized 1931 biography, Wyatt Earp: Frontier Marshal. The serial number indicates this was made in 1959 and was the first Frontier buntline scout model. Featuring a 9.5 inch barrel chambered in 22LR. This Revolver is in excellent condition showing normal signs of use and wear. Please see photos.
