Lot 17017:
Israel Military Industrie Desert Eagle .41/44
The Desert Eagle is a semi-automatic pistol known for chambering the largest centerfire cartridge of any magazine-fed, self-loading pistol. It is regarded as a pistol with high stopping power. Magnum Research Inc. (MRI) designed and developed the Desert Eagle. The design was refined and the pistols were manufactured by Israel Military Industries (IMI) until 1995, when MRI shifted the manufacturing contract to Saco Defense in Saco, Maine. In 1998, MRI moved manufacturing back to IMI, which later commercialized its small arms branch under the name Israel Weapon Industries. This Desert Eagle is chambered in the less common .41/44 Mag and features a 6? barrel and one magazine. The pistol is in excellent condition, showing minimal signs of use and wear. Please see photos.
